Midwest Great Apple Crunch in Norfolk NE

Noon on Thursday, October 13, 2016, Jefferson Elementary in Norfolk NE participated in the Midwest Great Apple Crunch!  We joined schools across the Midwest states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and South Dakota in celebrating National Farm to School Month.  All students and staff at exactly noon, bit into a fresh apple delivered to us from Degroot Orchards just south of Norfolk.  We had students on the playground, in the lunch room, in classrooms, and in hallways all seeing what a loud CRUNCH we could make!
