Sara DeAnda
Director of Human Resources
While Sara, Lunchtime Solutions’ Director of Human Resources, spends her days working with people, after hours she loves to hang out with Atlas, Ares, and Apollo. But don’t worry, they’re not the Greek gods, those are the names of her lovable dogs.
Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Bellevue University, her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Briar Cliff University and holds professional certification through the Society for Human Resources Management.
In addition to her responsibilities at Lunchtime Solutions, she is an Adjunct Professor at Bellevue University in Nebraska, an active member of the Siouxland SHRM board, and serves on the Sioux City Historic Preservation Commission and the Western Iowa Workforce Development Board.
While Sara is a leader in the Human Resources field, she and her husband love trying new foods and she often plans her vacations based on culinary curiosity.
Lunchtime Solutions brought expertise to our district in terms of purchasing, additional menu items for our students, and catering options for school events. This partnership has taken pressure off our general fund and allowed us to use those funds to focus on our classrooms rather than supplementing our food service.
