We are glad you are here! You are invited to explore this section of our website that can help you understand all that is offered with our foodservice programs, and how we can work together to lead your students to healthy food choices at school and at home.
Traditional Lunch Menu – This meal option has a choice of at least three entrees, and has selections from home style comfort foods, popular sandwiches such as grilled chicken or burgers, subs with fresh baked rolls, wraps, fresh baked and branded pizza, and the Mexican foods students love. Included with every student lunch are unlimited servings from the Fruit and Veggie bar, a hot vegetable of the day, desserts one to two times weekly, and milk choices. This menu far exceeds the requirements for the National School Lunch Program.
Cruisin’ Café – A healthy, complete meal-to-go option for students that have to be away from the serving area over the lunch hour.
Chef Prepared Entrees – These are recipes and menu selections prepared by one of our chefs at a cooking demonstration in front of the students, with the freshest ingredients. Chef Demonstration entrees are typically offered several times throughout the school year, and students must have money in their accounts to purchase these entrée choices. All choices of the traditional menu are available on Chef Prepared days.
Fruit & Veggie Bar – Students can have unlimited serving from the 8-12 choices each day on the Fruit & Veggie Bar.
Breakfast – Breakfast is offered in a variety of ways to best fit the school district’s needs: Breakfast in the classroom greatly increases participation, Universal Free Breakfast can be discussed with the district for compatibility and feasibility, Stop and Go breakfast choices are available for high school students, and adding a short morning break period for high school or middle school greatly increases breakfast participation.. Students typically have a choice of a hot entrée or cereal choices with toast, fruit or juice, and milk.
Farmers Market Selections Program – features a monthly fruit vegetable or other food, along with monthly product nutritional on posters displayed in the serving area or on our website.
SchoolYard Garden – Lunchtime Solutions supports school grown gardens, offering to pay the startup costs of seed and fertilizer, and also to integrate the produce from on-site gardens into the lunch program to complete the circle of learning regarding truly sustainable food production practices.

WasteWisdom™ – Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. supports schools in their to efforts become greener and initiate school waste reduction and management programs that help students make connections between consumption, waste, and the need to conserve natural resources. Our WasteWisdom™ program strives to engender a sense of student involvement and responsibility by honoring the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Local Purchasing – We are committed to buying locally grown produce and other foods when possible. We purchase from over 50 local growers near the school districts we operate.
Menu Event Days – special menu days where community is highlighted with special community servers, food drives, and other community support.
Summer Feeding Programs – Lunchtime Solutions works with school districts to expand and promote their summer feeding programs into a community asset that enhances the summer health, well being, and connection students and other community members have to their schools.
All of our traditional lunch menus are nutritionally analyzed in weekly increments with ™, a specialized nutritional analysis software. Key nutritional parameters such as calories, total fat, calories from fat, saturated fats, and key nutrients such as proteins and fiber are measured for USDA compliance in a week’s menus. Our nutritional guidelines call for:
• No more than 30% of total calories from fat
• No more than 10% of calories from saturated fat
• Zero trans fats
• Whole grain bread
• Meatless entrees three to four times per week
• Unlimited fresh fruits and vegetables, 8-12 choices with every complete lunch
• Desserts limited to 1-2 times weekly
• Our serving sizes for entrees do not exceed the USDA guidelines for school lunch or breakfast.
