Lunchtime Solutions, Inc., a leader in K-12 food service management, is seeking a uniquely qualified Regional Operations Director.

As a primary driver behind “Operations and Talent”, you will provide daily leadership to LSI’s eastern and central footprint (IA, MN, SD, MO). In partnership with diverse levels of direct reports, you will ensure planning and compliance objectives, regional financial goals, sustained profitability, nurturing of current client relationships, and supportive efforts focused on the growth of the region and LSI operations.

In addition to possessing a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, and a minimum of (5) years of relevant professional experience, LSI preferred candidates will provide a letter of interest and professional resume that successfully speak to past experiences, and details outcomes obtained by leveraging the following competencies:

Financial Acumen

  • Utilizing a diverse and well defined financial background, demonstrates proven capabilities identifying trends, determining root causes and contributing factors that ultimately produce actionable resolutions.
  • Demonstrated ability ensuring objectives and strategies are incorporated into the financial planning process and executed by direct reports.
  • Skilled reviewer of financial plans, capable of identifying, monitoring and measuring actual results ensuring accuracy and metrics are realistic.

Vision and Leadership

  • Proven ability managing and leading a decentralized operations team while leveraging diverse technologies as effective communication tools.
  • In preparation for continued growth, models and demands appropriate levels of delegation of duties, training opportunities and allocation of resources.
  • Ability to successfully identify future talent and administer critical training and development areas that are aligned with organizational culture and core values.

Business Management, Strategy, and Innovation

  • Identifies creative and realistic revenue building opportunities.
  • Proven developer of effective labor/staffing analytics and system.
  • Demonstrates overall accountability for region’s customer relations, recognized by customers as industry expert and trusted partner for all high-level needs and requests.

New Business Development

  • Proven background partnering with sales and marketing and knowledgeable in complete RFP/Proposal/Contractual process.
  • Necessary knowledge base, diplomacy and presentation skills to add significant value when assisting Director of Business Development on new business initiatives.
  • Highly skilled planner/estimator for talent, operational needs, and all resource allocations associated with new client start up.
